Bandpass Design
The BPS12-1 and BPS12-2 feature a high efficiency 7th order
bandpass design that offers excellent loudspeaker loading
and minimizes over excursion problems in compact, high performance
enclosures. The improved loading of the highorder bandpass
design produces extremely "tight" bass with excellent transient response . The high-order bandpass design
also improves efficiency and the BPS12-1 and BPS12-2 show
a 6 dB to 10 db gain at the port frequencies. |

Response
Improved loudspeaker loading produces extremely "tight"
bass with excellent transient response. Large vents
and flared openings mininize air turbulence within the
ports and further improve the sonic performance. |
• High Power, High Performance Woofers
The heavy duty woofers used in the BPS12-1 and BPS12-2 were
developed specifically for use in high power subwoofers.
They feature 4" edge wound voice coils, rigid cones
and massive magnetic structures in a "long-throw"
design that assures linear movement even at high power levels. |
