EASE JR was introduced in 1992 (2 years after the introduction of EASE) in response to numerous requests for a more basic Electro-Acoustic design and analysis program that cost less and Immediately became a favorite of system designers around the world.
EASE JR provides all the basic features and functions needed by most system designers, but does not include the in-depth acoustical analysis tools provided by EASE. A summary of EASE JR's capabilities follows.

*NOTE: EASE JR is limited to simple ray tracing of 3rd order reflections with 1000 rays/loudspeaker or fewer. This limits EASE JR to reflection studies that can be viewed in the View Project window. EASE JR cannot do any "Impact" ray tracing for specific seat locations, nor can it produce a virtual Room Impulse Response for acoustical evaluation. EASE ray tracing capabilities are not limited.

10. Acoustic Probe*
*NOTE: EASE JR does not have the Acoustic Probe. The Probe is a virtual measurement microphone that allows the EASE user to obtain detailed time, magnitude and frequency information for any point in an EASE map. The Probe is also used to view ray tracing impact files and to create virtual Room Impulse Responses for acoustical evaluation.
