EASE and EASE JR both include a Save As feature that many users use to create several working models of a particular project to make it easy to compare different design approaches.

Save As can also be used to turn any of the Example rooms supplied with the program into the basis for a new room model. The same can be done with existing projects and many users find themselves using one of their models over and over again with slight modification.

In the example shown above the stage area was added by the simple expedient of Extruding the front wall of the structure out 15 feet. It took all of 30 seconds to make this modification.

In this example, the Theater1 room example supplied with EASE and EASE JR was quickly modified. The balcony and ceiling were raised 4 feet to provide more head room under the balcony. The Displace command was used to raise the Faces (surfaces) and Audience Area involved. It took less than 2 minutes to make the change.
