The green areas in the graphic
shown above are Audience Areas. Audience Areas are imaginary
planes used by EASE and EASE JR to map the electro-acoustic
performance of the room and its loudspeaker system. They are
typically placed 3.94 feet above the floor or at approximately
the same height as the ears of a seated audience.
The red symbols are Listener Seats. They represent specific
locations within the room used in detailed EASE investigations
and in the EARS and EARS RT auralization programs.
Both are easy to add to the room model. Audience Areas are
usually placed individually with 3 Mouse clicks, one to select
a floor area, another to access a pop up menu and the third
to add the Audience Area above the selected floor area.
Listener Seats are usually put in visually with only two Mouse
clicks, one to select an Insert Listener Seat tool and the
second to place the Listener Seat.. |
