Standard Mapping uses a statistical
formula to calculate the reflected sound levels from the Direct
Sound levels and the RT Times generated using either the Eyring
or Sabine formulas.
Standard Mapping With Reflections, an EASE feature not available
in EASE JR, replaces the generalized Eyring or Sabine generated
RT Times with RT Times developed by ray tracing. Mapping With
Reflections is a more accurate method, but the calculations
take more time.
What Mapping With Reflections does do quickly is to generate
data on a few selected locations that can then be compared
to the Maps generated using the formulas to validate their
accuracy. |
