  RaSTI (Rapid Speech Transmission Index)
RaSTI, Rapid Speech Transmission Index, represents another way to measure and express intelligibility. While Alcon’s expresses intelligibility in terms of articulation loss, RaSTI expresses intelligibility on a scale of 0 to 1 with 1 representing perfect.

EASE calculates RaSTI using Alcon’s formulas modified with Farrel Becker equations.

Like Alcon’s, RaSTI can be calculated at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz using any one of the three Alcon’s formulas.
