  Step 2 - Adding a Statistical Tail
As noted in Step 1, most EASE Reflectograms are limited to 350 msec to 450 msec time windows because of the lengthy computation times involved in doing longer time frames. This introduces the need to add a Statistical Tail to the Reflectogram to improve the naturalness of the auralization.

The same is not true for Reflectograms created using AURA. The advanced Caesar based algorithms greatly reduce the calculation times and in most cases allow the creation of "full RT time" reflectrograms. For more information on AURA auralizations select Auralization With AURA from the menu bar above.

Adding a statistical tail is a relatively simple task, but a necessary one for most Reflectograms created by EASE.

The resultant Reflectogram is then saved as a Response File representing the Room’s acoustical signature at that location.
